Film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) menceritakan tentang empat kakak beradik dari keluarga Pevensie, Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes), dan Lucy (Georgie Henley). Keempat kakak beradik ini hidup di pinggiran kota London dan dipindahkan bersama anak-anak asal London lainnya karena serangan Jerman pada Perang Dunia II. Mereka kemudian dipindahkan ke rumah Profesor Digory Kirke (Jim Broadbent), seorang pria tua yang tak terbiasa hidup dengan anak-anak.
Suatu hari, saat keempat kakak beradik Pevensie sedang bermain petak umpet, Lucy menemukan sebuah lemari pakaian dan memasuki dunia fantasi bernama Narnia.
